Palworld exits Early Access in July
Mark July 10 on your calendar as the ever-controversial mishmash of creature collector, survival, and crafting, Palworld, is exiting Early Access. While it was expected that Pocketpair was readying to announce the game’s inclusion in the 1.0 club, it probably wasn’t expected to be so close to release.
Revealed in a cinematic trailer, Palworld‘s 1.0 release will feature floating islands you can access through flying mounts and at least one new Pal awaiting in the sky. Obviously, this is a cinematic trailer, but we can hope that the sky-bound combat will be just as compelling. But, even if it’s just a fraction as compelling, that’s still something.
Back in January, Pocketpair teased that it would be getting its biggest update ever this year, complete with new buildings, facilities, armor sets, and mechanics.
In case you’ve missed out on it, Palworld is the controversial creature collector best known as “Pokemon with guns,” while it flew under the Nintendo legal team’s radar prior to release, its explosive popularity caught the Big N’s attention, leading to an ongoing lawsuit surrounding mechanics usage and legal warfare.
